Job Description

You will need to be able to hit the ground running, have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail.
You will support the Financial Accounting team to provide a high class financial accounting service which include charitable funds, treasury management, annual accounts, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and reconciliation of key payroll deductions and completion of financial returns.
You will also assist in the management of the financial services provided by the Financial Accounting section, ensuring the provision of a pro-active, comprehensive and high quality service in its debtor and creditor functions.

The Successful Applicant

You should have experience of working in an NHS financial accounting environment and will possess excellent communication and organisational skills with a demonstrable commitment to excellent service delivery. You must be capable of working to tight deadlines whilst ensuring consistency and accuracy, able to prioritise workloads and be able to work on your own initiative as well as under supervision. An enthusiastic and energetic approach to work along with an acceptance of work flexibility and continuously changing working practices is essential.

The finance department actively supports training and development and training will be provided in line with the departments training strategy.
