Job Description

Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts, yearly budgeting and quarterly forecasting


  • Managing and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends
  • Liaising with banks and group treasury function
  • Review and present current economic and currency news to aid management decision making in foreign currency cover
  • Calculation and preparation of the company's FX forward hedging deals
  • Managing 1 treasury assistant

Risk & Control:

  • Monitor internal controls and ensure that appropriate controls are in place
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, resolving audit points in timely manner
  • Ensure business is compliant with Group and other statutory requirements

Experience and skills:

  • Qualified/newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Previous experience within a Finance function desirable but not essential
  • Ability to manage and develop finance assistant
  • IT competent - strong Excel skills and ability to learn and use new systems
  • Knowledge of MFG is advantageous

What's on Offer

Key challenges:

Offering broad business exposure working within the Central Finance team. The role will involve preparing reviewing and submitting of group reporting requirements, managing the Treasury function including one direct report, support in ensuring internal controls are appropriate as well as being an important part of the wider finance team

The job holder will liaise principally with the finance team, but will also have regular contact with internal and external auditors, divisional and group head offices and the commercial and operations teams.
