A non-exhaustive list of the key role responsibilities is detailed below:
To support the Group Financial Reporting Manager by monitoring, reporting and advising on maintenance programmes and group expansion proposals
To support the Group Financial Reporting Manager and the Assistant Accountant Development in ensuring that proper accounting and control arrangements apply to the groups' properties and other fixed assets, in compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
To assist the Group Financial Reporting Manager in the preparation of the group's consolidated management information, in relation to capital and repairs matters, for reporting to the executive team, group boards and board committees.
To liaise with the Assistant Accountant Development to ensure proper and complete accounting control of the group's property and other fixed assets, including all additions and disposals in relation to capital repairs spend.
To provide information to the Tax, Treasury and Development Manager in relation to cash-flow forecasting and funding requirements.
To liaise with the Group Financial Reporting Manager in relation to taxation matters on capital and revenue maintenance activity.
To support the Group Financial Reporting Manager in the preparation of the group's consolidated financial plans for reporting to the group's boards and for external submission to regulatory bodies as required.
To ensure that consistent procedures, systems and methods of working are employed throughout the group to enable group consolidations of management information including key financial performance indicators, budgets, forecasts and planning.
In conjunction with the Group Financial Reporting Manager provide a high level of financial support to other senior managers and directors.
To ensure that the group's financial policies and procedures are implemented, maintained and adhered to.
To understand and support the group's corporate objectives and actively contribute to achieving these within your role.
To carry out the above duties in accordance with the group's "valuing diversity" strategy and health and safety requirements.
