Job Description

Your role will include but is not limited to:

  • Maintain a robust framework of internal controls to ensure that the companies accounting records are complete, accurate and reliable
  • Define and provide monthly financial information, trend analysis, interpretation, analysis and support to stakeholders thereby enabling an improved understanding of the information provided
  • Review and challenge the data supplied directly or via the general ledger by internal and external channels
  • Complete annual and quarterly IFRS group reporting schedules
  • Complete annual and quarterly Solvency II returns and documentation
  • Implement improvements to production processes
  • Ensure accounting policies for the business are in line and up to date with IFRS requirements

The Successful Applicant

Skills Required:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Advance knowledge of life business rules and processes
  • Advance knowledge of FCA rules and regulations
  • Financial reporting experience with life insurance business
  • Detailed understanding of financial controls, design and implementation of them
  • Analytical skills to interpret financial results for better financial management
  • Knowledge of Solvency II
