Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of all central costs to ensure accuracy and transparency for cost centre managers
  • Ensuring understanding of the current cost base and presenting monthly results to the head of marketing
  • Working in cross functional teams to control variable commercial costs, understand and deviation to plan and ensuring and risks and opportunities are transparent
  • Deliver and present monthly business and financial results together with insightful analysis and commentary
  • Identify key threats and opportunities
  • Key member of month end process
  • Business planning and budgeting support required across marketing, variable commercial costs and central overheads.

The Successful Applicant

  • A qualified accountant who can embrace a large, complex fast moving business
  • Excellent excel skills and TM1 experience preferred
  • High levels of motivation and enthusiasm who shows ambition to progress
  • A team player with strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills including variance analysis, quickly identifying the key drivers and can clearly communicate monthly P&L movements
  • Financial accounting experience required
  • Works independently under pressure
  • Experienced in commercial finance
