My client are an ambitious and niche Hotel business based in Gatwick

Job Description

My client is looking for a Finance controller who has experience in a growing SME.

This role will be all day to day responsibilities of the finance function, and a successful candidate will be involved in all levels of the finance department.

- Preparing monthly management accounts and board packs

- Preparing/ reviewing month end journals

- Reconciling balance sheets including VAT, Wages, Purchase ledger, accruals and pre-payments.

- Preparing monthly P&L, balance sheets and cash flow reports

- Reconciling and dealing with suppliers and their queries

- Preparing year end audit files

- Raising purchase orders and allocating projects

- Dealing with supplier queries

- Processing monthly salary BACS payment runs

- Raising monthly/ quarterly sales invoices and posting to SAGE

The Successful Applicant

A Successful candidate

Will have previously worked in an SME environment

Will have knowledge of SAGE 50
