Job Description

The succesful Financial Controller will be responsible for:

The role is responsible for the accounting services for all UK and European subsidiaries, with an oversight across other Group subsidiaries to ensure we maintain standardised processes and controls.

The role is responsible for 27 team members across the following functions managed by 6 direct reports and a team of managers:

 Payroll

 Credit Control

 Purchase Ledger

 Financial Accounting and Treasury

 Stock Management

 Financial Systems

This is a high profile role that will support the Finance Director and work closely with the regional heads of finance, commercial teams and the group finance team, comprising tax, legal and external reporting. In addition, this role will work closely with the executive directors, heads of department and senior managers across the business and will have the opportunity to be part of the growth and development of the brand, including involvement in the implementation of new systems across the Group. The Group's on-going global expansion makes this a fantastic opportunity for an individual to implement a step change in how we deliver accounting services. The ideal candidate may already be in industry looking for a step-up, or in audit with a strong background in process, controls and people management looking for their first move into industry.

The Successful Applicant

The succesful Financial Controller will demonstrate:


  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • ACA - Intermediate/High PQE
  • Experience of managing an audit
  • Excellent Verbal, written and presentational skills
  • Travel and work in London


  • Previous experience working with, or within an international group
  • Retail background
  • Personal Skills

 Ability to work proficiently in a fast paced dynamic environment

  • Strong team management skills (experience of running a large team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
