Job Description

  • Management of daily financial operations including management of finance team;
  • Development and management of month-end process including:
    • preparation of monthly management accounts for different entities
    • preparation of reporting pack for the Board of Directors
  • Reviewing internal controls within the business and implementing change where necessary;
  • Overseeing monthly cash flow forecasting;
  • Managing and taking responsibility for the accounting systems and assisting with the implementation of the new planned system;
  • Management of all external reporting including preparation of statutory accounts;
  • Management and overall responsibility for regulatory returns such as VAT and Payroll returns;
  • Supporting the Head of Finance in ad hoc tasks/projects.

The Successful Applicant

I am looking for a dynamic, credible, 'hands on' professional with a strong commercial background who would be committed to the development and management of the Company's Finance team.

The candidate will either be qualified or QBE and have experience in an accounting function management position

The ideal candidate would have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages and in particular strong Excel skills.

This is very much a role for a pro-active individual who is adaptable to change, with excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and a proven track record in their current position.

The candidate would have an enthusiastic and proactive approach demonstrating a 'can-do' attitude and an effective and confident communicator across all levels of the organisation.

  • Strong Excel skills;
  • Financial management skills;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • PC proficient, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Self-motivated, driven and results oriented;
  • Methodical with excellent attention to detail.
