Job Description

  • Managing the finance function from Birmingham Head office
  • Production of management information and daily, weekly and monthly reporting
  • Responsible for producing all reports including balance sheet ownership
  • Full (daily, weekly and monthly) cash & bank monitoring and control and cash forecasting
  • Highlighting opportunities for continuous improvements across all areas of the businesses
  • Periodical re forecasting and annual budgeting of each business/project
  • Support the Chief Executive and other directors in all aspects of the organisation
  • General office management duties
  • Ad hoc operational and accounting duties
  • Past experience in implementing and improving Finance systems

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Ability to work carefully, with an excellent eye for detail
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Highly motivated
  • Excellent people and leadership skills
  • Extremely numerate
  • Strong commercial experience
  • Previous Financial controller level work
