Job Description

Ownership of the overall monthly and annual reporting activities, including

  • Ownership of the monthly reporting timetable collation
  • Production of the monthly Board report pack with commentary
  • Enhance financial policies and procedures
  • Managing the accruals and provisions and other balance sheet movements and reporting against them
  • Ad hoc reporting requirements delivering insightful, accurate and timely financial information across the business and to Members
  • Responsible for the day-to-day running of the treasury process, ensuring fit-for-purpose short-term cash forecasting, BACS and payments authorisation and overall cash management
  • Managing the relationship with the external auditors and external consultants on behalf of company
  • Ownership of all statutory financial reporting
  • Responsible for running of all other finance processes
  • Leading finance process improvement and roll-out across the business, optimising our relationship with IDH, leading to continuous improvement in the accuracy, timeliness and automation of financial information
  • Development of the budget and forecast cash-flow and balance sheet.
  • Development of Board-level presentations clearly identifying the budget / forecast and comparisons against prior period and prior forecasts
  • Management and development of a team, providing best in service to the business
