About Our Client
My client is a London based systems and consulting provider to the global asset finance industry. Their industry leading software sees them provide services to global financial services institutions. Within their recent growth into the US they are looking to expand their finance outfit with a newly-created financial reporting analyst position.
In this financial reporting analyst role the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across and develop their skill-set in the following areas:
-Monthly financial reporting demonstrating strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and principles;
-Advising across statutory, regulatory, and management reporting procedures for clients using the software;
-Assisting with the design of reporting templates and processes for clients.
-Support software implementation and migration projects with clients by providing expert product knowledge backed by strong accounting understanding;
-Undertaking process improvement and performance improvement projects, and advising on FP&A projects.
Business Partnering/Project Management
-Providing key support to team members on key financial aspects;
-Developing and implementing robust and efficient project plans and undertaking project management;
-Acting as a key contact for clients at all levels with responsibility for training members of staff on the software through to presentation of project plans to key stakeholders (Finance Directors and CFOs).
The Successful Applicant
As a strong applicant for the financial reporting analyst role you will:
-Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who can demonstrate a balance of technical reporting experience and an analytical skill-set;
-Demonstrating a financial services background is advantageous;
-Possess an innovative approach to problem solving with a track record of process improvement or project management;
-Show the ability to communicate at all levels of business and with both internal/external stakeholders through adapting and tailoring your style;
-Demonstrate your willingness to collaborate and support teamwork, including supporting with tasks outside your day-to-day remit.
What's on Offer
The offer to the succesful candidate will be between £55,000-£65,000 + competitive benefits.
