As a result of their rapid growth they are seeking an experienced Progressives Key Account Manager to join their team.

Job Description

Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will be responsible for the overall management and results of the Progressives account. Your responsibility is to develop and execute the Grocery strategy and growth driving plans for a category portfolio of leading brands. It will be your responsibility to develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales and market share objectives while also improving brand performance. With a proven track record of managing significant trade spend budgets and an in depth understanding of the category management process, you will be well placed to maximise return on investment and play a key part in the continued growth of this key customer relationship.

The Successful Applicant

You are currently employed in a PEL Key Account Management sales capacity within the grocery channel of a major FMCG company; category experience will be viewed as advantageous. Both operationally and strategically experienced, you are able to understand the complexities of the customer and how to best engage, manage and influence internal colleagues, particularly in field sales. Above all you are driven to over achieve targets and to act as an active ambassador for the business.
