Our client is a well know entertainment business based in central London.

Job Description

Within this great entertainment business a successful FP&A Manager will have the following responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation and maintenance of scenario analyses and detailed strategic financial projections including monthly forecasts, five year strategic plan and annual budget for the Midway London cluster.

Drive improvement in the accuracy and consistency of volume and revenue reporting across the London Cluster, ensuring that best practice is rolled out across the attractions.

Provide analytical support with revenue and margin reporting to aid in tactical and strategic decision making.

Oversee the production of key revenue and volume information which is concise and aggregated; to include the preparation and delivery of daily, weekly and monthly revenue and yield reports with benchmarking including comparison to budget/prior month/forecast.

Support the Financial Controllers to complete the month end reporting in line with the reporting timetable; oversee the provision of volume/revenue estimates for flash reports and outturn, preparation of monthly sales and revenue journals, delivery of revenue reports to third party stakeholders and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, including deferred revenue and commissions.

Provide volume, revenue and gross profit commentary on management information, including management accounts and forecast projections. Review volume, revenue and gross profit performance and look to predict the future based on current trends. Identify relevant information and use professional judgement to draw conclusions from data analysis to ensure key issues are raised and discussed.

Coordinate the revenue and gross profit element of the forecasting cycle such as the Business Plan, Budget and monthly forecasts. Ensure the data is robust through a process of thorough review and challenge.

Provide advice and guidance to the London management to aid in commercial decision making and continually seek to introduce and develop new ways of analysing the business to drive increased revenue and EBITDA.

Build and develop the revenue and cash reports to support the changing needs of the business.

Responsible for deep dive analysis of revenue metrics and KPIs to determine profitability and aid decision making.

Drive development of the review and reconciliation of deferred revenue and analysis of ticket sales.

Ensure the integrity of the Sales and Admissions system data and monitor the set-up of new ticket types to ensure they are accurately captured within our reporting framework.

Oversee daily cash to revenue reconciliations and ensure investigations are promptly performed clear any discrepancies.

Liaise closely with third parties and internal team to ensure the accurate reporting and timely invoicing of commissions.

Ensure all processes and procedures adhere to the Operations and Finance manuals. Monitor current procedures and systems in use for weaknesses and improvements. Communicate any system/procedure failures and suggest solutions to the relevant Financial Controller and Profit Protection Manager.

Support London management team with ad hoc financial analytical reviews to support business decisions and to meet Group and Operating Group information requirements.

Manage and motivate direct reports and ensuring personal development plans are in place, objectives set, regular appraisals are performed and workloads organised effectively.

To assist in preparation for internal and external audits and liaise with auditors.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:
Management of two+ direct reports.
Extremely strong Excel skills (macros,VBAs, Pivot tables, manipulate data)
