Job Description



Technical:

  • Software and database development as directed
  • Bug fixing and issue resolution
  • Manage the web-hosting infrastructure for hosting
  • Contribute expertise and ideas to roadmap planning and delivery
  • Liaison with IT and other technical resources, as appropriate.
  • Manage, coordinate and provide technical support for clients



Other:

  • Generate ideas to further enhance the firm's GRA offering and ensure profitability
  • Document and follow sound internal risk management procedures
  • Be aware of and comply with the firm's policies at all times
  • Record time accurately using the Practice Management System
  • Any other duties appropriate to the grade and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training
  • Be aware of the firm's risk management and practice assurance procedures and ensure compliance
  • Ensure continuing professional development is up to date at all times

The Successful Applicant

  • Relevant technological expertise - developer experience with the following technologies (5+ years):
    • LAMP stack
    • Zend framework (version 1)
    • JS / Prototype / JQuery
    • Composer
    • Atlassian development collaboration tools (Bitbucket, SourceTree, JIRA)
  • Other desirable skills / experience
    • D3.js
    • REST based applications and front-end skills such as Angular
    • Experience of API integrations with third-party SaaS services



  • Proven relevant experience gained in a similar role
  • Experience of contributing to, and delivering projects
  • Understanding of general business management and operations
  • Good understanding and application of sales and marketing skills and techniques
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Good project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Able to influence internal / external clients and colleagues
  • Able to work under pressure with accuracy and focus
  • Proven planning and prioritising skills
  • Strong team skills
