About Our Client

The charity based in Godalming dates back to 1827 in which it has supported over 3,000 children.

The not for profit charity is now working at a national level to promote step-change and is engaging with an increasing number of Local Authorities who recognise the outstanding benefits of Assisted Boarding over full Local Authority care - and the long term cost saving.

Our client typically supports children between the ages of 7 -13 due to vulnerability due to suffering from neglect, trauma or are at risk within their home or community environment. Their guardian may be incapable of looking after them due to their own mental or physical illness.

Our client meets with each and every single child to understand their individual needs and circumstances. They continually monitor their progress through school until they leave. This is an AMAZING journey - not only for the child but also the family who thrive too, as they see their son or daughter blossom and grow with confidence

They work to keep fragile family units together. Their helplines have never been busier from families in crisis due to government cuts and they have a BOLD ambition to aid and support 500 children per year by 2017.

This amazing charity is supporting children at 160 state or independent boarding schools around the UK and are building relationships with another 340 schools to increase the number of places available to vulnerable children. State and private schools have shown that they want to help and take their charitable role very seriously.

Being a leading charity in the Assisted Boarding field, they work with professional bodies who have direct contact with vulnerable children who are most in need of their help and would benefit. Local Authorities are listening to their message and many are engaging on a national level.
