Job Description

FX Middle Office Product Development responsibilities:

Implementing new products or services

  • Develop a product definition and outline high-level business requirements
  • Develop revenue forecasts
  • Responsible for leading initiatives with approved Stage 1 business case throughout implementation
  • Work with cross-functional project team, requiring extensive collaboration with most departments
  • Lead industry working groups and prepare for member engagement
  • Lead regulatory review process
  • Work with project manager throughout delivery phase, adhering to internal project management framework
  • Collaborate with Product Strategy team

Managing existing products or services

  • Work with cross-functional groups to prepare an annual strategic and tactical plan for each product
  • Execute the tactical plan through cross-functional analysis, development of requirements, or collaboration with Risk, Tech, or Ops on their initiatives.
  • Drive identification and implementation of product enhancements, including leading the preparation for member discussion materials related to product enhancements
  • Conduct regular reviews with Relationship Management Team on product health, release schedule/content, future enhancements, and member feedback

Assess financial performance of existing products and identify opportunities to improve financial return

The Successful Applicant

FX Middle Office Product Development experience required:

  • Strong analytical capabilities and sound judgement
  • Experience making decisions with limited information and making recommendations to senior management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including attention to detail, and high standards for work product.
  • Strong collaboration and partnership approach
  • Ability to successfully lead team
  • Track record of successful execution


  • strong relevant work experience in financial services, management consulting, product management or corporate strategy teams
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams


  • MBA or other relevant graduate degree desirable.
  • Experience with financial infrastructures, CCPs or exchanges a plus
  • Experience with prime brokerage a plus
  • Credit and/or liquidity experience a plus
  • Strong desire to provide good analysis and informative reports critical to strategic decision making
  • High standards of quality accuracy, anticipation of issues/questions
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to exceed expectations
  • Creative and solution /results oriented
  • Strong networking, collaborative and relationship based approach to execution
