A market leading 3PL based in the West Midlands.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring the site performs over and above customer expectations
  • Managing a large team of 600+ in a fast paced operation
  • Developing, coaching and mentoring team
  • Setting and monitoring employee KPis
  • Responsible for on-site HR
  • Managing the sites Warehouse, Transport, Health & Safety functions
  • Ensuring the site performs to budgetary requirements
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Operating in an 'Open Book' environment

The Successful Applicant

Key Skills:

  • Must have previous senior management experience ideally at GM level
  • 3PL 'Open-book' contract experience
  • Experience of project managing start-up operations
  • Strong leadership, development and engagement skills
  • Commercial skills
  • Budgetaty and financial control experience at a high level
  • Change management experience
  • Passion to progress and develop
  • Educated to degree level/ equivelent

What's on Offer

Salary on offer is between £75,000 and £80,000 + Package
