About Our Client

My client is rapidly growing Food and Beverage business with 80 stores set to open in the next 5 years, they are looking to bring in General Managers and promote them to an Area level down the line.

Job Description

As a General Manager you will be in charge of opening a new site in Edinburgh in Central Belt of Scotland.

The site is set to have 10-15 staff taking 15k a week initially. The business will need a strong leader who can set the standards, modify them where necessary, recruit strong staff and train them on front of house and back office processes, as well as drive local promotions and footfall of customers.

You have the ability to be autonomous on some of the standards and need to understand how to trouble shoot issues quickly. You will also be playing a vital role in hosting the venue, talking to customers, ensuring they have a good time and being the face of the site.

The Successful Applicant

In order to be eligible for the General Manager role you must meet the following criteria:

- Be focused on staff motivation, recruitment and development

- Be hands on; show staff how to do things and provide

- Have a strong Customer focus

- Be detail focused and a problem solver- able to pinpoint issues and fix them

- You MUST have a branded restaurant background at a GM level

What's on Offer

25k-40k depending on experience + 20% bonus and statutory pension.
