About Our Client
2 office Chartered Accountancy Practice, are growing organically & by acquisition, requiring the recruitment of a Accounts / General Practice Senior for their Berkshire office .
The firm are strong with clients in the £5 to £10m sector.
General practice experience and be competent in all aspects of accounts and taxation work
Take responsibility for all aspects of the preparation and control of engagements and carry through approved work plans.
Tarry out complex aspects of work including preparing most of the final output of an engagement
keep engagement managers adequately informed of progress on engagements.
Maintain close contact with clients throughout engagements to ensure continuing good relations and the effective completion of work
Supervise the work of assistants, answer all but the most difficult work queries and ensure that work is brought to a proper standard for supervisory or managerial review
Assist in the on-job training and development of junior staff
Prepare and discuss staff performance reports
Good client facing skills
The Successful Applicant
Accounts / General Practice Senior:
Experience working in General Practice
Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office
Comprehensive accounting and taxation experience including:
Fixed assets and depreciation
Technically up to date
Sound professional sense
Knowledge of IRIS and Sage
Management accounts and book-keeping experience
Knowledge of billing process
