My client are a leading technologies and electronics distributor with offices nationally. This role is based at their offices in London. (Logistics distribution and supply chain)

Job Description

The purpose of this role will be to embed a global perspective around HR Policies and all employee relations. The Global Employee Relations and Policy Manager will be responsible to drive a cultural shift through the delivery of a compliance framework that delivers clarity and accountability. This role will help shift the business into a global way of doing things and help to build a best in class user and customer experience.

The Global Employee Relations and Policy Manager will be responsible for delivering a fair and consistent ER strategy, assisting the overall management of employee relations, effective case management and effectively promoting a positive ER environment within the business, whilst minimizing risk of litigation, by assuming the lead role as the global ER specialist with the capability to advise on and manager ER risks, issues and incidents.

The Successful Applicant

  • An ER expert, with experience of managing and developing new policies and procedures across a multi country business

  • Experience of collective ER management

  • Knowledge of ER risk management, governance and compliance

  • Attention to detail and ability to articulate in plain English

  • Strong verbal and written skills

  • Ability to collate and analyse data

  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience of training and coaching other members of the HR teams to adopt the policy and compliance framework

  • Experience of working in a global ER role

  • Shaping and delivering a ER strategy
  • Experience of working in organisations that have gone through large-scale change and transformation projects
  • Experience of a global HR transformation
