Job Description

As Global Talent Manager of this Blue Chip Organisation you will regularly work with very senior stakeholders. You will play a key role in developing strategy and succession planning for the Top 250 as well as coaching the Exec through scenario planning.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, developing and deploying an integrated global talent strategy to enable business performance.
  • Ensuring the organisation has a long term view of its talent needs alongside a robust process to ensure effective resourcing, development and deployment strategies.
  • Acting as a thought leader, owning and ensuring consistent application of the end to end talent process, frameworks and resources are continually fit for purpose and work in synergy.
  • Ensuing these processes are fully embedded and consistent application across the business.
  • Designing & developing approaches to evolve cross business global talent mobility including challenging the behaviours and approach of senior leaders.
  • Reviewing and enhancing the process for the Exec-led annual talent reviews.
  • Acting as subject matter expert for the design & implementation of the talent system.
  • Ensuring robust global talent acquisition strategies are in place to strengthen talent pipelines in specific areas.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for the Global Talent Manager role in Warwickshire, you must be a subject matter expert with 'deep' expertise in talent management frameworks, processes and approaches and ideally have significant prior experience in a broader HR role ie. as an HR Business Partner.

You must be confident and experienced in working with the Exec and a skilled coach with the ability to challenge their thinking, as well as recognising opportunities from a talent perspective that will impact future business performance. Excellent internal and external networking skills are also paramount and this client is looking for an individual who has worked within an organisation of significant size.

This client will also consider candidates based in London who are willing to spend 3 days/week in Warwick. In addition there will be some travel to the US, typically every 6 weeks.
