Job Description

  • Work with managers to deliver a robust risk management framework that identifies the current and the potential ones arising on the horizon
  • Work with the business to embed an effective governance framework that enables us to comply with the regulatory standards and to self asses against them
  • Support the business in embedding data protection practices. Lead on the induction and training of staff and volunteers in the awareness of good corporate governance
  • Submit timely and accurate returns to the Homes & Communities Agency and other statutory agencies.
  • Manage the internal audit programme
  • Oversee the insurance requirements of the business and ensure that the claims history is well managed

The Successful Applicant

  • Have exposure of managing and reporting on risk management
  • Have exposure of developing and maintaining corporate governance frameworks
  • Have a good knowledge of the requirements of data protection and can apply it to manage the relevant risks
  • Have exposure of working with internal auditors and other key external stakeholders
  • Have exposure working with Board members and senior management
  • Have excellent report writing skills
  • Have proven exposure of managing staff
  • Be committed to continuing your professional development
  • Be computer literate with excellent skills with Microsoft Office
