About Our Client

This Big 4 team conducts audits of major central and local government organisations as well as NHS providers. You will help clients respond to regulatory reforms, manage their capital life-cycle and improve their business operations.

Job Description

This Big 4 Government & Public sector audit practice is one of the largest providers of external audit services in the sector.

The team has demonstrated market leading growth consistently over a number of years and has set an ambitious plan for the future. They work with a variety of local and central government organisations including local councils, hospitals and the emergency services and will take on over 100 new engagements this year. As well as delivering financial statement audits, the team also produce value for money and grant certification work alongside assurance engagements including internal audit, investigations and governance reviews.

The Successful Applicant

Experience of working on Government / Public Sector audits is ideal
Proven experience of leading teams on audit deliverables and taking a lead role in assurance projects.

ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
