This London based Organisation is a global force within the Property & Housing industry positioning as a international construction services company delivering fit out, construction, engineering services and a range of specialist solutions.

Job Description

Joining the team as a Graphic/Bid Designer your main duties will include

  • Come up with innovative ideas/themes for proposals documents and create all graphics required, (including bespoke covers and dividers, and graphics for iPad submissions)
  • Attend start-up meeting with production team and Director responsible to agree strategy, content, presentation and actions
  • Review, edit and write material for proposal document - many people contribute to the document and part of the role is to make the document seem like it is written by one person
  • Liaise with bid manager, estimator, planner and delivery team to capture and build in key information
  • Create realistic logistics/sequence drawings (e.g. accurate cranes, hoists, other construction vehicles)
  • Ensure timely dispatch and take responsibility for arrival of document
  • Prepare material for post-tender interview and responses, including interactive presentations, incorporating media such as film, flash etc.
  • Support others in proposals group at critical deadlines

The Successful Applicant

An experienced, creative Graphic/Bid Designer who is keen to provide a high quality of service to the business. The ideal candidate will be calm, thorough, organised, self-managed and have proven experience and ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a busy team in the heart of London city.

  • Previous experience in Property and Housing industry is essential
  • Open, engaging, collaborative with a down to earth personality and a sense of personal ownership
  • Friendly, proactive, approachable, positive and results driven
  • Able to quickly build effective relationships and a good communicator - confident in dealing with people at all levels including senior management team
  • Excellent verbal communication skills as well as written skills with good grammar for creative writing, graphical and editorial part of the role.
  • Ability to remain resilient, calm and measured and particularly during busy periods and when dealing with conflicting priorities
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills who is able to work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent administration skills, attention to detail and eye for accuracy
  • Pleasant and confident inter-personal manner

What's on Offer

£200 - £400 a day dependant on experience
