About Our Client
My client is a multinational Technology Firm with a strong presence in the US and across the European region with plans for further Asian market expansion. They provide software products and consultancy services to a range of clients with a strong presence within the Financial Services and Professional Services markets. Their London office is the EMEA HQ and hosts a finance team of 10. The EMEA Financial Reporting Manager will report to the EMEA FC, have exposure to the EMEA CFO, and lead a team of 3 qualified accountants.
As the EMEA Financial Reporting Manager your role will be to drive accurate and timely regional reporting, review the work of a team of 3, and lead of projects. You key responsibilities will include:
-Ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting with a strong emphasis placed on reviewing team performance;
-Driving improvements in accuracy and efficiency of reporting processes;
-Leading on projects to accommodate IFRS changes across the EMEA region and investigating accounting system performance;
-Management of a team of 3, including performance review and career development;
-Support the EMEA FC with budgeting and forecasting cycle at EMEA level;
-Ad hoc reporting for the EMEA FC and EMEA CFO as requested.
The Successful Applicant
As a strong applicant for the EMEA Financial Reporting Manager position you will:
-Be an ACA qualified accountant with an audit background (top tier practice preferred);
-Demonstrate strong technical knowledge, specifically in relation to IFRS;
-Show strong exposure to management of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes (ideally in a consolidated environment);
-Possess strong leadership skills, previous management responsibility is preferred;
-Have excellent communications skills with an ability to interact successfully at all levels of the business.
What's on Offer
The offer to the successful Group Financial Reporting Manager will be between £65,000-£75,000 depending on experience plus a strong benefits package. You will also be invited onto a development programme with a view to progressing you to an FC position within 2 years.
