About Our Client
Nationwide Accident Repair Services provides automotive crash repair and accident administration services to the UK automotive insurance, fleet and retail industry. The company, following an MBO in June 2015 is now backed by the Carlyle Group, one of the largest investment companies in the World, having previously been an AIM listed Plc. The company is the largest dedicated provider of accident repair services in the UK and has relationships with a large number of motor insurers, including RSA, Aviva, AXA, LV and Zurich. It also provides its services to fleet operators. There are a growing number of manufacturer approvals in place including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Jaguar Land Rover and VW.
With a national network of 124 accident repair centres and a fleet of mobile vans located across England, Scotland and Wales, employing around 4,000 people, Nationwide Accident Repair Services is the largest dedicated provider of accident repair services in the UK. The plan is to continue on this acquisition growth strategy in a market where the competitors are small and fragmented, yet Nationwide still has a market share of less than 10%.
Reporting to and working closely with the Group Financial Controller, the role requires a future leader who shares the vision and will be "self starting" in driving forward its delivery - whilst having good judgement on keeping the Group Financial Controller well briefed on key issues and workstreams.
Essential requirements for the role include:
Annual budget design and consolidation.
Monthly accounts design and consolidation.
Working with Adaptive Insights.

The Successful Applicant
The key personal requisites consist of: -
ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant.
Proven track record with Adaptive Insights software.
Highly analytical and accurate.
Familiar with managing the entire finance process.
Demonstrate hunger to progress in short timeframes.
