About Our Client
Michael Page Finance are currently partnering with a large organisation. who are looking to appoint a Group Management Accountant in to their team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
To be responsible for analysing and predicting the impact of grant and regulation changes, on the organisations overall finances, through interpretation, analysis and assessment of new legislation, regulations. This includes modelling and forecasting future funding positions.
Develop and improve systems and models to enable effective monitoring and forecasting of the key corporate funding streams.
To investigate, interpret, develop, analyse and report on areas of special financial interest and other projects and initiatives with impacts on core funding streams.
Contribute to the development of detailed objectives and policies, with the Finance Manager, and other managers as appropriate.
Ensure the effective and efficient implementation of policies and the achievement of the corporate and financial objectives.
Ensure effective external relationships are established and maintained with external organisations.
To be responsible for the recruitment, leadership and management (including review of performance) of the postholders reporting to this post in accordance with the organisation.
To ensure the development and communication of clear service objectives and performance targets. To establish and implement performance review mechanisms in accordance with corporate policy.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate for the Group Management Accountant:
- A Qualified Accountant
- Public Sector experience
- Able to commute to Bath on a daily basis
