Job Description

Responsibilities Include:

  • Data collation and analysis for senior stakeholders in the business
  • Monthly key account reconciliations
  • Maintaining the month end reporting
  • Preparation of investor relations documents such as the quarterly trading updates, as well as analysis and data requests from the CEO/CFO and senior stakeholders in the Group
  • Preparation of documents for the Board and other senior stakeholders
  • Analysis of results across the Group compared to recent trends, competitors etc
  • The preparation of statutory accounts for UK companies, ensuring timely audit sign off
  • Ad hoc projects as the Group grows organically

In addition this individual will be significantly involved in:

  • The production of the Preliminary Results, Interim Report and Annual Report to shareholders
  • The production of the monthly Group consolidated financial results and the publication of the monthly data to the Board of Directors and others
  • The production of the quarterly trading updates for the Group
  • The Budget and Forecast processes
  • Instruction and review of regional reporting submissions

The Successful Applicant

  • Newly Qualified Accountant - ACA, CIMA or ACCA
  • An understanding of IFRS
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • This individual will be a strong team player, responsive to a changing environment.
  • The individual will support the development activities of the department and continue to strengthen its relationship with the operating units
