Job Description


Role Purpose

  • Reporting to the Senior Performance and Reward Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for driving the performance and reward agenda for Commercial Banking. This includes providing guidance on performance management, executive compensation, employee compensation and providing operational support to the HRG's and business on an ongoing basis.






Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the pay review process for the client group, bringing thought leadership and advice to HR and business managers
  • Plan for new initiatives such as the PIR workstreams and support their embedding within the P&R framework and HR and the business
  • Navigate the HR matrix, ensuring compliance of Group, geography and global line HR agendas for area of expertise
  • Establish and sustain an effective network of business stakeholders to facilitate understanding of the business issues and the development and dissemination of ideas
  • Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
  • Compliance with HR FIM
  • Implements the Group Compliance Policy, as applicable to the role
  • Communicate and support co-ordination of relevant processes and implementation throughout the year
  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with HRGs to ensure business managers are provided with timely strategic advice for performance management, comp and benefits
  • Maintain expert specialist knowledge by keeping abreast of published materials, competitor practice, external market developments and trends and legislative and regulatory developments
  • Act as product champion for (P&R) to stakeholders across the HR function and within the business, building awareness and adoption of relevant products and processes, including the use and acceptance of TC, incorporating local business needs and regulatory requirements as appropriate
  • Interpret and advise on policy and act as subject matter expert to the relevant businesses



The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR MI or Reward professional with Financial Services experience.

You will be able to communicate with senior stakeholders and build relationships effectively across the wider group.

Experience working in a large multi national will also be considered.
