The business is keen to further develop their service portfolio and grow their market presence and share. As a result there is a need to appoint a Head of EU Clinical and Patient Support Programmes

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Europe the key responsibilities will include

  • Developing and deploying a European Clinical Services strategy focussed on patient support programmes that will increase market share and penetration
  • Taking full accountability for the setting and achievement of financial targets for the Clinical Services business across Europe
  • Assessing the Clinical Services capabilities within the operating countries and ensuring those services are aligned to the strategic plan
  • Partnering Country General Managers and Clinical Service leads to identify and exploit growth opportunities for Clinical Services
  • Supporting the business development teams on key tenders and identifying market opportunities
  • Ensuring the quality of delivery of client services and partnering with our clients to ensure that service is to the highest level
  • Developing the governance framework for Clinical Services ensuring all countries and services operate to quality standards and are compliant to national/regional regulations
  • Identifying and assessing potential acquisitions that will expand or enhance the Clinical Services capability

The Successful Applicant

Prospective candidates will ideally have a clinical background as a doctor, nurse or pharmacist with a demonstrable track record operating in significant leadership roles focussed on clinical or patient support services. You will have experience developing and deploying a clinical services or patient support programme ideally within an international matrix organisation. Experience of managing a p&l would be high advantageous. In addition a strong commercial awareness and exceptional interpersonal skills will be a pre requisite to make an impact in this high growth business. The role will require frequent international travel.
