About Our Client
Our client is a true success story having increased turnover dramatically in recent years and with a clear vision for the future. They are offering a rare opportunity to join them in a senior role as part of the leadership team where you will have the opportunity to develop the HR function and support commercial and strategic decisions.
As Head of HR you will report to the MD and manage the HR team. As part of the senior leadership team you will contribute to strategic and commercial decision making and will advise on how HR can support the future plans for the business.
In addition you will be required to oversea all areas of Employee relations and performance management, reviewing policies and procedures and making improvements where necessary. You will coach managers to ensure they are empowered to manage their staff effectively and improve issues in areas such as absenteeism and sickness.
This will be a varied role and one that you can really put your own mark on, defining your plans for the HR function moving forwards and how it can continue to support and add value to the business.
The Successful Applicant
In order to be considered for this role you will have a strong generalist background and will ideally have worked within the manufacturing sector. You will have worked at a senior level within HR and will have a proven ability to provide a business partnering approach. Strong leadership and influencing skills are a must along with a desire to work in a high growth, entrepreneurial environment.
