My Clients are a leading Retail organisation based in the Midlands.

Job Description

The key accountabilities for the Head of Marketing include helping the business achieve budgeted sales and gross profit. As Head of Marketing you will become the guardian of the brand and ensure the marketing budget is controlled and spent effectively through-out the year.

Key aspects of the role involve defining and implementing a Marketing Strategy to present to the board. As Head of Marketing you will have;

  • Full responsibility for in-store Promotions and POS
  • Full responsibility for PR
  • Full responsibility for Email Campaigns and Digital Communications
  • Full responsibility for all Creative Marketing.

The position of Head of Marketing is new position for the business and as a result will need someone capable for creating a small yet effective marketing team.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will need an extensive Multi-Store Retail Marketing background and have the ability to work independently whilst forming and developing the marketing function.

The successful candidate will be able to evidence strong marketing exposure across all marketing channels both online and offline. You will be able to measure success and ROI and be capable of managing multiple agencies. Evidence of previous marketing success and how it delivered sales growth is a must.
