About Our Client
A major European manufacturer of branded frozen, ambient and chilled food with multiple manufacturing facilities.
The successful Head of Marketing will be interacting with key UK and European based stakeholders to drive positioning and brand awareness, develop the core product portfolio and introduce new products. You will be working in an autonomous, empowered, hands-on and team based environment. You will be working with the Senior Management Team to drive sales across existing and new food categories across the UK's retail spectrum.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Marketing will have full responsibility for controlling UK's marketing budget and the leadership of three people.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Head of Marketing will have an excellent track record within a branded FMCG environment, ideally in food or drink, and be seeking to utilise their blue-chip track record in a smaller and more autonomous business. You will be comfortable working in an empowered environment that provides freedom and accountability to deliver. You will have been leading a team of professional marketers, having operating at Head of Marketing level. You will experience of the UK's major grocery and convenience retailers and be comfortable to be customer facing as required.
You will be an enthusiastic leader, with excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, and an excellent communicator.
