Our client are one of the leading Housing Association's in the North West in respect to Development and are highly regarded in the Housing Sector. This Housing Association is now looking to develop their Commercial Arm in developing their private residential offering for market sale and market rent. This is an exciting new phase of growth for the Housing Association and a brand new role for the organisation.

Job Description

Head Of Private Sector Property Management - Property and Housing

The Head of Private Sector Management has a key role in the overall delivery of leasehold, shared ownership and market rent services for the association and further developing and driving forward the professional services offering.

The successful candidate will be responsible, but not limited to, for the following duties:

  • To ensure the delivery of quality management services across the Management teams including market rent, rent to buy, leasehold, private management contracts and all low cost home ownership products
  • Supporting marketing campaigns, identifying new business opportunities and following up all leads in accordance with strategic targets and organisational objectives for growth in residential management
  • To lead for the organisation on the acquisition of new business and development opportunities including; site appraisals, the preparation or appraisal of tenders, contract specifications, bid documents and making formal presentations, negotiating and executing heads of terms and other legal agreements and project managing contracts through to launch, mobilisation / delivery.
  • Ensure the organisation complies with all legal and regulatory responsibilities and best practice; both as a landlord or managing agent to resident management companies.
  • To be responsible for preparation and regular monitoring of budgets to ensure that accounts are maintained within forecast limits.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and expertise

  • Significant experience of working in the property sector in a client facing / contract management role
  • Experience of block management and lettings/tenancy management
  • Experience of financial appraisal, bidding, securing and mobilising new business opportunities
  • Experience of working in an urban or city centre housing market
  • Experience in leasehold / low cost home ownership management
  • Experience in the residential development market with specific experience of institutional investment into the Private Rented Sector

What's on Offer

The successful candidate reporting to their Manchester regional office will be offered between £47,000 and £55,000 depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware individual who can work under pressure and has proven experience within Private Residential markets.
