Job Description

Leading a team of 3 you will be responsible for:

- Development and implementation of Procurement strategy.

- To develop appropriate and effective policies and procedures for the Procurement function

- Structure spend categories to enable efficient procurement application and the relevant approach.

- To lead company procurement committee

- Define departmental savings and performance objectives for the team, recognizing spending/risk mitigation and not solely cost savings

- To employ best practice sourcing and evaluation techniques

- Analyze expenditure on goods and services to identify areas for review

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be:

- An experience procurement professional with a minimum of 5 years experience within an operational organisation

- Proven leadership and management experience, ideally acting as a Head of Procurement

- Dememonstrate exceptional communication skills on all levels

- Lead with a Total cost of ownership approach.
