Job Description

The role will lead the Procurement function for the Bank (including management of the Bank's outsourced procurement partner), to effectively source and manage third party suppliers; ensuring customer needs and commercial performance targets are met. Also act as the lead Commercial Business Partner (covering procurement and contract management) interface with Central Functions

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years end to end procurement experience (including complex contract formation and negotiation)
  • Strong track record of delivering procurement-led cost reduction
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills commensurate with senior stakeholder management, up to and including Executive level
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders with conflicting priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to drive down procurement costs whilst maintaining service quality
  • Ability to set clear goals and, through effective communication, share those goals with staff
  • Solid programme management / planning skills; enabling effective coordination and prioritisation of multiple initiatives in a complex operating model and fast-paced environment
