My client are a well known management consultancy firm with a head count of 1000 globally.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the recruiting strategy in order to create a positive candidate experience, attract top talent and achieve hiring goals:

  • Provide thought leadership and expertise to inform the firm's recruiting strategy, specifically for the undergraduate, PhD, MBA and industry hire recruiting programmes
  • Raise my clients profile by building strong relationships with key actors of the recruitment market including major universities, head hunters and experienced candidates
  • Manage the London recruiting team, including hiring, training and development; lead the team to deliver exceptional service and attain hiring goals
  • Leverage best practices and tools in order to increase the effectiveness of our recruiting programmes
  • Review the development of all recruiting materials, including job descriptions, company presentations, interview guidelines, and marketing collateral
  • Oversee and contribute directly as needed to the full life cycle of recruitment activity from sourcing, assessment, offer extension through to offer conversion
  • Establish and maintain relationships with recruiting leads and counterparts in the clients other offices
  • Serve as liaison between the recruiting team, senior leadership and other functional leaders
  • Track and report upon key hiring performance metrics to measure ongoing success
  • Manage recruiting financial plans and budgets

The Successful Applicant

Requirements:

The successful candidate may have a background either: in a consultant role within a professional services environment (such as strategy or management consultancy) with experience of / direct involvement in recruiting as part of their managerial responsibilities; or in a dedicated recruitment role in a similar environment.



We would welcome applications from candidates who have had a career break and would consider structuring the role to create flexibility, for example in terms of longer than standard vacation periods outside of recruitment campaigns and / or one day per week home working.



In addition, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Strong understanding of a professional services culture and organisation
  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Professional maturity and gravitas needed to gain credibility
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands on style and preparedness to pitch in as and when needed





Education

Bachelor's degree required.
