Role Overview

Capability & Talent Development

  • Build a strong and diverse talent pipeline to meet current and future workforce requirements
  • Integrate internal Resourcing processes with Talent Management so that we effectively deliver our "build" agenda

  • Ensure business unit Resourcing supports delivery of our diversity and inclusion ambition by facilitating the attraction, sourcing and hiring of diverse candidates through inclusive recruitment practices Operational Excellence
  • Enable efficient and flawless execution of resourcing policies, processes and services and run compliant operations resulting in quality hiring decisions and a positive candidate experience
  • Leverage internal and external data to provide strategic insight that informs business decisions
  • Support the Resourcing transformation to build the Resourcing specialism within the new 2020 HR operating model

The Successful Applicant

Essential Experience

  • Significant experience in strategic resourcing and operational delivery of end to end global recruitment processes
  • Proven track record in leading strategic global resourcing projects focusing on simplification, value add, efficiency and quality & excellence in defining and embedding global processes and practice
  • Significant experience of leading multiple small, medium and larger scale projects at any one time
  • Experience of delivering programmatic recruiting for early careers programmes
  • Strong influencer with demonstrable stakeholder management skills and experience of influencing at senior levels in complex global organisations
  • Ability to build relationships and drive results in a matrix team with indirect reporting relationships
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach to providing Resourcing solutions
  • Able to leverage and understand company culture, political climate and knowledge of business priorities to drive to results - influence and collaborate to achieve positive outcomes
  • Experience of successfully managing end to end executive retained search
  • Quality focus and the ability to see process and projects in the eyes of the 'customer' and process 'end user' to ensure simple, efficient and value added process. Experience in running focus groups to solicit 'voice of the customer' ensuring process is fit for purpose
  • Skilled programme manager and experience in facilitating change management initiatives
  • Knowledge of HR/Recruiting systems

Desirable Experience

  • Project tracking methodologies
  • Powerpoint and presentation skills
  • Vendor management experience
  • Process mapping and improvement methodology

  • Understanding of oil and gas recruitment market and the candidate market place
  • Experience of managing operational resourcing activity in more than one country
  • An understanding of the competitor landscape for early career hiring
  • Demonstrated experience in proactive attraction and talent pipelining
  • Strong team building, people development, leadership and coaching skills
