Job Description

      • Lead and manage a team who are empowered to operate within a defined framework
      • Work with the Retail Sales Director to define the General Retail strategy and help shape the vision for the future; covering Range, Price & Promotion
      • Responsible for delivering the General Retail P&L working to the agreed strategy
      • Analysing and interpreting performance and trends against agreed KPI's. Notably; Sales, Net Contribution, Floor Model space, New Product Development listings
      • Personal day-to-day responsibility for agreed customers in region
      • Support the Retail Sales Director in relation to channel specific demands and priorities
      • Collaborate with peers, operating across defined region in order to share best practice with continuous improvement ethos
      • Planning and project management of Events, Floor Model roll-outs, Marketing and POS etc
      • Leading a team with feedback and coaching as required
      • Supporting of corporate objectives and communication to team
      • Senior relationship owner for all customers within region including escalation resolution
      • Support Retail Sales Director in relationships with Buying groups such as AIS
      • Ensure visit frequency of team to their customers is appropriate to £size/opportunity of store
      • Co-ordination of quarterly team meetings and agenda with Retail Sales Director
      • Regular time spent in Head Office, as required, in order to network and ensure work delivered
      • Work with other teams, such as Customer Contact Centre, to deliver best in class service
      • Work with Retail Sales Director to define budgets in line with company expectation
      • Work with peers to ensure standardised reporting

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, ideally leading a team of managers. You will be self-motivated and will have the ability to motivate your colleagues at all times. You will be responsible for a multi-million pound business; so exceeding targets will not phase you.

Customer service is imperative, so you will to be commercially savvy, driven and have vision to move the company forward.

In addition, you should be able to influence people and the business- Build a good relationship and network with a wide range of people- Drive own development.
