Job Description

The role of the Sales Manager is to meet the sales targets set by the company through effective planning and budgeting. The Sales Manager must utilise available resource effectively and devise strategies. They are responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development. The Sales Manager must support and enable the company to achieve its Vision and Mission

  • Responsible for managing the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and developing GLMs overall brand and market position
  • Ensure that the Sales Pipeline remains full with qualified leads and prospects
  • Develop marketing plans to support the sales targets and company objectives
  • Monitor team and individual productivity and motivate team to reach monthly goals
  • Evaluate and improve sales and account management processes
  • Schedule and lead Fortnightly one 2 one's
  • Sales Reviews and Monthly Sales Meetings

The sales team is a mixture of dedicated inside sales people, and inside/external dual function BDM's

The Successful Applicant

The Head of Sales - B2B Courier and Logistics Services MUST

  • Have daily access to the office in West London
  • Have demonstrable, proven track record of managing sales teams, leading revenue increases, planning and implementing a sales strategy and recruiting / hiring new successful sales people.

This MUST be within a business to business capacity, ideally within logistics, mailing service or other similar solutions.

What's on Offer

£50,000- £70,000 depending on experience. + 20-30k OTE.
