Job Description

The Junior Commercial Counsel - Essex, will be vital part of this leading legal team in their HQ in Essex. Working closely with the senior lawyers within the team you will have an innately commercial role.

The Commercial Counsel will have full remit of responsibilities which include:

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts inclusive of but not exclusive to: confidentiality agreements, letters of intent, new client contracts. etc.

- Advising different business units on legal issues.

- Working within the perimeters of the companies contract templates

- Renegotiating existing contracts

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Junior Commercial Counsel - Essex will be a lawyer looking for a wide ranging commercial position within an established legal team. The position would suit someone with the core commercial skills looking to learn and grow with senior lawyers who are able to provide real legal mentoring.

Ideally you will have the following attributes:

- c2-5 years PQE*

- UK qualified within a Private Practice/ In House team

- Commercial law knowledge and exposure
