About Our Client

A leader in the retail sector with an expanding portfolio of Commercial property. This is a fast paced growing organisation with a commercial outlook.

Job Description

  • Drafting and negotiating leases and all associated property documentation.
  • Property Disposals.
  • Assist and co-ordinate the legal processes to completion for new permanent and temporary stores, rent reviews, lease expiries and renewals, C.P.O's, Party Wall awards and other ad-hoc legal documentation.
  • Deal with acquisitions and other associated property work for the Company.
  • Deal with post completion correspondence such as submitting SDLT forms and registrations and the Land Registry.
  • Effective communicating with external solicitors/agents and landlords.
  • Advising directors and team personnel as and when required.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this position you will have

  • A minimum of 3 years PQE handling a commercial property caseload
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a broad level of Commercial property skills.
  • Experience of landlord and tenant lease work.
  • Experience in acting for occupational tenants.
  • Confident and assertive negotiator with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to learn and use in-house computer software as may be required.
  • A good working knowledge of Landlord and Tenant matters.
  • Flexible in approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Previous experience of working within a Retail Office environment.
  • Knowledge of Commercial Retail legislation essential.
  • Methodical and organised with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver a quality service to both internal and external clients.

What's on Offer

Up to £55,000 plus a car allowance of £5,000.
