About Our Client

The client is a well known Financial institute based in Brighton. The company is current going through a very busy period working on a large scale project.

The newly refurbished office is located a moment from the train station in Brighton with excellent commuter links to London and the surrounding area.

Job Description

  • provide effective risk based HR business partnering consultancy and advice to managers in a fast paced, change environment
  • work with leaders and management to support in the delivery of agile and appropriate resources with the right skills and knowledge including the planning, mapping and growth of internal talent to increase organisational effectiveness
  • work with leaders and managers to design and implement new organisational structures that align with TPR corporate priorities and vision
  • work with managers to promote staff engagement through ensuring good people and performance management practices and a role model for the companies values.
  • simultaneously working with, and managing the expectations of, multiple stakeholders at senior level and prioritising work to ensure effective delivery of HR solutions in line with business needs
  • champion the organisation's diversity and equal opportunities approach and practices through working with managers, employees and the trade union.

The Successful Applicant

  • CIPD post-graduate diploma or equivalent qualification
  • experience of working as an HR Business Partner and dealing with employee relations issues, conducting competency based interviews and have a sound knowledge of employment law with practical application and advisory skills
  • experience of dealing with change programmes
  • advising on strategic and operational human resource management solutions, techniques and best practice tailored to organisational requirements that impact on operational effectiveness
  • support the design and implementation of commercially focused organisational development, people development, learning and development and change management theory and best practice
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience of using diplomacy to manage ambiguous and challenging situations and conversations
  • qualification in administration and interpretation of psychometric assessment tools would be advantageous
