A major name in the UK market, working within the distribution arm of the business based from Birmingham, West Midlands
The role of HR Business Partner is to deliver a full Hr service across the region, partnering the Regional Manager and their management team. You will work in a fully generalist role, across a number of ER issues, but also more specifically around learning and development and upskilling the management team to be able to deal with people management issues. Once the management team are at a higher level of capability you will be able to spend more time looking at strategic projects, not just across the region, but potentially nationwide. You will also take charge of the Employee Engagement survey, monthly KPI's and ensuring the development and review process is continually looked at.
The Successful Applicant
To apply for this role you should have a really good background in a generalist HR Management role with some experience of Business Partnering. You should have experience in Logistics, Distribution, FMCG or similar environments and you must have multi site management experience. You should be comfortable working in the Birmingham area circa 3 days a week with travel to other sites on a weekly basis.
As well as a strong knowledge of ER and current legislative and political issues affecting HR professionals, you should also be able to demonstrate a passion for L&D and a proven track record in upskilling the management team.
Ideally Graduate / CIPD level, you should be able to work in an autonomous role and be able to take a robust approach in a heavily "blue collar" environment.
