Job Description

  • Working at a strategic and operational level, you will be responsible for leading and developing the HR Team whilst maximising effectiveness of the HR department.
  • You will support the Site Manager in all relevant HR topics and ensure all local and Global HR initiatives and systems are fully implemented fairly and with a reliable, professional service.

  • Whilst managing the relationship with the Union and employee representatives for the Bradford and Grimsby Sites you will be the main point of contact taking a lead role in all negotiations.
  • You will develop and maintain communication with internal stakeholders within the business to ensure that they are always informed and supported on HR topics

The Successful Applicant

  • Educated to a degree level (or equivalent)
  • CIPD qualified
  • have significant experience of working either in a senior generalist role
  • You are confident working in a unionized environment, and have experience with negotiating.
  • Excellent communication skills with Senior Internal and External Stakeholders
