About Our Client

My client are an International Logistics Organisation that have a strong presence across the UK and Europe. With over 5,000 staff globally the business is ambitious and looking to grow further through acquisition.

Job Description

Key tasks:

_ Act as HR business partner to local business team

_ Advise management proactively on HR issues in line with corporate and regional HR strategy

_ Act as a change agent in creating a performance culture in the organisation

_ Ensure, that the local talent pipeline is filled at an appropriate level and support the organisation in developing

our people

_ Local succession planning

_ Drive the action plans from our employee survey

_ Ensure the organisation design is supporting the business goals

_ Support the local organisation in all Zone related matters

_ Provide operational HR support and lead and run daily HR operational work

_ Implement, manage, maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with corporate and regional


_ Execute and co-ordinate the recruitment and selection processes for all new and replacement personnel

_ Ensure implementation of equitable and competitive compensation and benefits strategies for the country

organisation, in line with corporate HR policies and processes, to attract, motivate and retain skilled staff

_ Manage external vendors

_ Active participation and contribute to the regional HR network and provide local support for regional HR


_ Guide on handling of industrial relation matters

_ Act as a consultant in the preparation of tenders for big projects from an HR point of view

_ Co-ordinate and execute all activities relating to international mobility/transfers

_ Ensure health, safety and employee wellness is in line with legal requirements

_ Support internal communications

_ Ensure high quality input to local payroll

The Successful Applicant




university (degree) (desirable)


5-7 years of HR experience (not necessarily in a management role)

Familiar with the UK labour market and industrial relations

Ideally experience in change management
