The client is a well known FMCG brand based in the Surrey area. With a number of household names the business is a fast paced engaging workforce. With excellent commuter links to both London by train and the Southern Home Counties by car this company offers a great environment to work.

Job Description

  • To drive development of UK-wide HR policies, processes, and values that are both compliant with legislation and match best practice, that make this FMCG brand such a successful and a great place to work, including obtaining external benchmarks where appropriate.
  • Provide a comprehensive and proactive HR service to UK Consumer, and EMEA business groups.
  • Coordinate annual merit review and grading review for UK and Europe.
  • Support the HR team in the management of contracts with third party suppliers (eg Car Fleet, payroll provider, health care broker, Pension administrators, Assurance/Insurance Advisors, legal advisors)
  • Support the submission to Great Place to Work Institute and drive organisational change to ensure continued success
  • Liaison with Regional HR International Markets team
  • Help develop and deploy employee engagement strategy across the UK and EMEA business.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong communicator and team worker, able to build relationships at all levels and across function in an ambiguous environment.
  • Willingness to travel to Europe (3-4 times per annum)
  • Proven Track record in supporting a business to deliver business results
  • Organisational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Ability to manage for results with high degree of initiative and speed
  • Strong strategic thinking and drive
  • Self-starter and Acts with integrity and speed
  • Track record of managing organisational change and implementing culture-changing HR initiatives
  • Sound communication, presentation, coaching and facilitation skills
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law

What's on Offer

£200 - £220 per day for a 5 month contract.
