About Our Client

An award winning provider of Social Housing within the South East

Job Description

Assist in the planning and implementation of programmes of action to address priorities for health and safety improvements within the business

Provide technical advice and assistance to ensure effective health and safety management systems, incorporating risk assessment are maintained

Establish and maintain a record-keeping system and initiate necessary follow-up action to meet the objectives set out above

Identify and prioritise Health and Safety learning and development needs, and assist in organising programmes for managers and staff to meet identified needs.

Work with the Property & Asset Management teams to ensure safe environments, and help to effectively manage contractors at remote sites

Co-ordinate, advise and enable client's Health & Safety Committees to become an effective force for health & safety improvement

Undertake programmed visits, including audits and inspections of operational sites as per QSHE support plans

The Successful Applicant

Two years post-qualifying experience in a similar role

Practical experience with Fire Risk Assessment

Ex Building Services experience also considered

NEBOSH certification is advantageous

Other qualifications include NVQ Level 3, Diploma in Health & Safety and Postgraduate qualifications
