Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working across both acquisition and retention to develop an integrated direct marketing strategy
  • Working across a range of channels but sticking mainly within traditional streams, with some integrated digital communications
  • Utilising data analysis to shape the strategy of the direct marketing programme
  • Managing the legacy giving strategy including stewardship of existing donors as well as developing a strategy to engage potential prospects
  • Develop existing community fundraising programme and identify new growth areas
  • Work across the fundraising department to ensure that all communications are on brand and that a supporter journey is followed through
  • Collaborative approach to working with colleagues in Major Donor fundraising to ensure that prospects are not being missed out on
  • Keep abreast of direct marketing best practise within the sector
  • Management of relationships with external agencies
  • Line management of 1

The Successful Applicant

Person Specification:

  • Experience of working within an individual giving department for a not for profit
  • Experience of utilising a wide range of direct marketing channels to deliver campaigns
  • Excellent data analysis skills to inform strategic direction of the department
  • Experience of managing relationships with external suppliers
  • Excellent copy writing skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Highly numerate with knowledge of budget management

What's on Offer

This organisation is looking to offer a salary of between £34,000 and £37,000 pro rata, depending on experience.
