Job Description

The Interim Brand Activation Manager will form a key member of the Group Marketing team in this consumer focused technology business. You will report to Global Brand & Marketing Director and will work closely with the wider local marketing teams and liaise with the Group head office teams. You will be responsible for leading the successful management and achieving excellence in execution/implementation of important brand and marketing initiatives across local markets. You will develop detailed project charters and plans specifying goals, objectives, strategy, scope, budget, scheduling, approach, requirements, deliverables, timelines, and work stream coordination for all project assignments. This role will be a liaison with all relevant parties - including local markets, agency partners, and internal stakeholders.


As a succesfull Interim Brand Activation Manager you will:

  • Understand group marketing objectives, local marketing objectives alongside consumer trends, and current research initiatives across Europe, to inform scalable and engaging marketing and brand activities
  • Develop marketing solutions that better understand, anticipate and meet customer needs across marketing assets, channels and collateral, helping to drive quality leads and bookings
  • Manage the development and successful implementation of brand and marketing initiatives at the local level, working closely with local markets and group agencies with the ultimate goal of creating scale - to deliver cost savings, quality assurance, brand consistency
  • Manage the brand & identity development and implementation project and our advertising development & delivery-working with local markets, agency partners, managing timelines and deliverables and providing the communication with key stakeholders
  • Work with the local marketing teams to provide brand and marketing support. Have a full understanding of what their objectives are, how they are looking to achieve them and how we can better support them
  • Manage the creation of fact-based, insight driven communication and marketing plans
  • Continuously seek ways to improve business performance of the European group marketing team and champion new ideas/opportunities

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous experience in a Brand Activation role from a B2C environment
  • Solid project management skills with ability to multi-task and manage projects in a cross functional, geographically dispersed environment, under constant deadline pressureSuperior problem solving, communication and negotiation skills including effective leadership, planning and motivational capabilities
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
  • Strong understanding of brand and marketing principles
  • Keen understanding and passion for the evolving digital landscape
  • Strong analytical skills to ensure effective measurement of campaigns and create commercially actionable insights from campaign analysis
  • The ability to form effective working relationships with all levels of the organisation
  • Possess a high intellect, be creative and numerate
  • Ability to push hard and affect positive change fast in a dynamic high standards environment while maintaining a positive approach with peers, SLT and subordinates

What's on Offer

Circa £250-£350 per day based on Ltd Company. 12 month contract
